The Opto XLink was designed with state-of-the-art technology to provide safe and effective treatment. The Opto XLink optical system was developed to deliver the energy dose adjusted by the physician in a collimated and homogeneous manner over the cornea to be treated. In addition, the Opto XLink has an internal microprocessor system (microcomputer) that, through sophisticated software, controls all the equipment functions. This same system, through internal sensors, constantly monitors the amount of energy emitted.
The safety system ensures that the energy set by the doctor will be exactly what is delivered to the patient’s eyes.
